BRIDGE Sustainability Case Competition 2021

Supporting Clean Energy

Barkley Project Group is proud to partner with BRIDGE Sustainability Case Competition. In its second year, BRIDGE brought together an interdisciplinary group of 150 students from 13 universities, 31 professionals and 19 companies. This collaborative event united people from across the country with the 2021’s clean energy development case competition.

“Congratulations to the BRIDGE executive team and the participants! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and are grateful for the opportunity to contribute.” — Yuho Okada, President

“It was inspiring to review the concepts brought forward by BRIDGE participants and see the students tackle such a complex issue with intelligence, creativity, and enthusiasm” — Mary Vasey, Project Manager

“The competition provided a window into the future of the clean energy sector – diverse, interdisciplinary, and led by a new generation of passionate and empathic critical thinkers.” — Nigel Moore, Strategic Analyst

Mary Vasey dedicated her time to BRIDGE as a workshop lead. We would also like to thank Chief Joshua Charelson and Hesquiaht First Nation for making this learning opportunity possible with real-world data for the case.

The event’s primary focus is on cross-disciple collaboration to solve the world’s toughest sustainability challenges. Overall, Barkley Project Group was impressed with the event and the calibre of participants. Congratulations to the winning team at BRIDGE Sustainability Case Competition and all those involved.
