More about Shawn:

Shawn Day, P.Geo., is a Project Manager on the Geothermal team, specializing in geothermal and renewable energy exploration and development across Northern and Western Canada. With expertise in project management, community engagement, and capacity building, Shawn collaborates with clients to create sustainable energy solutions that promote local ownership and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. His role includes managing geothermal projects, leading resource planning, budget management, community consultation, and helping to develop regional Indigenous-owned energy initiatives. As a member of Bigstone Cree Nation, located on Treaty 8 in Alberta, Shawn is passionate about empowering Indigenous communities and building meaningful partnerships. He is a registered Professional Geologist with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
